Titanfall the end of round ship :O

Im guessing that the ship was actually killed by somethingnother than the Titan.

I say that because they removed the ability to Titanfall the ship in R1, because people would do it every round.

It's cool for a few times (which I experienced in TF1) then it just gets old...

That's just me tho.

I gave it some thought this afternoon, and as a possible alternative they could offer a mini "marked for death" mode, where the MVP of the losing team would be marked, and if his teammates can protect him until an arbitrary countdown ends (with some scripted event attached to it), the whole team gets a merit.
Sounds more like an escort mission, actually.

What MP mode would you say is most efficient for leveling if you're:

a. playing by yourself (with randoms)
b. Not very good at this game

Thanks.

All I know is from the time it says Victory/defeat to starting your next game is waaaaaaaay too lengthy.

Epilogue. Then load screen. Then matchmaking. Then load screen. Then you drop in with that 15 second countdown while you pick your loadout...

That whole process is too long.

Marked for death didn't make it into R2, did it? That was a cool game mode. I also miss hacking specters and turrets. They weren't super useful, but it was fun.

You can quit when epilogue begins.

I agree, but coming from BF1, it doesn't feel that long. And at least you get ample time to mess with loadouts.

And it doesn't count against you or anything? Like a loss even if you won? Does it keep your party together if you're not playing solo?

Either way that's not a great solution

It doesn't count as a loss etc.

And if the party leader leaves, everyone goes with him.

Nope, no marked for death.
I never cared for spectres, but turrets could be quite effective to hurt passing titans and grunts. The one in Air base was always a bloodbath with everybody trying to capture / disable it.
The data knife hacking is in the campaign, so I guess it's not impossible it will make it to multiplayer too.

I don't think it's too long since I usually have just enough time to check what I unlocked, but I would appreciate it if we could see the incoming map when waiting in the lobby, like we could in Titanfall 1. It makes it easier to select the appropriate loadout, rather than wait the last few seconds when we're in the ship.

It's not just you. I bitched about it being a waste of my time and wasting my time on getting to another match in the first one in that one's beta. Sadly, they haven't given an option to let you skip out or have a playlist that skips out on that.

Just started using Legion, and holy shit. Overcore + extra battery boost -> smart core happens more often and you last longer.

YES lmao

I have a few clips of how bs that shit is

Respawn, do you not get the full $ when you drop a Titan on an AI Bounty?

They're meant to be worth $600, right?

Scorch feels very balanced. lol

He takes a long time to kill Titans or Minions normally. His core is so good at catching people off-guard though.

You are on the precipice of greatness imo. The game is fairly straight forward up to where you have played. Like you said good not great yet.

What difficulty are you playing on also? I feel hard is the way it was meant to be played.

That's what I wondered and hoped.

I'm playing on hard.

Man, Tone is such a fucking counter pick for Scorch. I feel like from the perspective of him that bitch needs a nerf lmao

Starting to feel the hemlok now.

For those people who choose a sidearm and forgo the anti titan weapon, do you just run away from titans until you have yours? Have a few more loadout ideas I want to try, but I feel weaker without my MGL.

Besides the melee system, did Respawn fuck up the netcode as well? I was doing fine in the beginning but now everytime I get the drop on a pilot I empty half my mag into them only for them to turn around and hipfire with their pistol and I'm dead. This is fucking ridiculous.

Same. My game drops when I use other weapons for the sake of using them (and leveling). I really wish they would let us have both a side arm and anti-titan weapons like Tif1. The side arms are so good in this game it's annoying I have to lose titan damage to level up side arms.

It's an interesting feeliing when your team loses BH but your better than everyone else in the game and wipe the enemy team during evacuation.

Really disappointed if Legion and Tone get nerfed and I don't even use them. Would like to see Northstar get a full charge damage buff and Ronin shotgun damage or ammo count buff instead.

Very unfortunate that Tone is getting nerfed - it's a perfectly balanced Titan. Always sucks to see your favorite weapons/abilities nerfed.

I've never felt OP as Tone. Smart players can make your life hell, but smart players with any Titan can. Folks just complain right away instead of trying to get better.

The weaker titans need to be made more attractive. For instance, Northstar needs reworking. One thing I hate is the Bungie method of nerfing: Take what's popular and make it worse. That said, Respawn is a very smart studio with balancing.

Welp, sounds like everything I could have asked for.

Though, I left Tone + Legion for last to regen (I've already regenerated all the other Titans), which is now looking like a poor decision...

I can't imagine Legion nerf changing his meta

I do wonder if my clips had any influence

If she gets nerfed too hard, Ion will be the legit go-to Titan.

Actually, Scorch will lose his only counter-pick

So opinion time...I have this for PC...is this pretty controller friendly? I've heard that the controller is just as good as mouse/keyboard. I guess due to the speed and style of movement?

If I go controller? what is the recommended controller mode? I see a lot of people recommending one of the bumper styles. Obviously ultimately it comes down to preference.
