After many many hours played on Titanfall 1 I'm really looking forward to give it a try to this beta/demo.

The footage I've watched so far makes me worries about the game's new mechanics (the hook and its impact on traversals and new titan-riding mechanics).

By the way, the using your phone to start a download on a rest mode console at home is one of the most underrated features of this gen.


So amazing to press a button at work and know that the game will be ready to play by the time you get home.

Yeah, but as you said - your console has got to be on rest mode. And make sure you click the download button after you click the buy button on the psn store's webpage. A lot of people click the buy button but not the download now button the follows up.

Indeed, but I never turn my consoles completely off. Worth it for all of my games being up to date when I go to pop them in.


Although I still run into frequent updates on XBO as part of the preview program. I wish those would happen automatically too. Sometimes I have guests over, go to throw a Blu Ray in, and boom, huge update screen.

You can probably confirm by checking file sizes. If it's a different file size than it is something considered separate I'd think.

Pre loaded is done and dusted for PS4, remote downloads is such an under appreciated feature.
Finally glad I get my grubby mits on this game although the impressions thread is very negative.

Maybe I won't be as critical having never played the first game, but I'm pumped for it.
