to a T demo now available on Steam

bender

What time is it?
Can you survive being stuck in a T pose?

The Katmari Damacy style is immediately recognizable and the character creator and intro are hilarious, not to mention the premise. It's also Steam Deck compatible.

Going to be on Game Pass too at the end of the month.

I'll try anything Keita Takahashi puts out. Was even tempted to get a Playdate at some point just to play his game.

Finished the demo. It's equal parts endearing and funny. Deck performance is a little iffy. This is a day one purchase for me.

Didn't realize he had a Playdate title. That and a Lucas Pope exclusive make it tempting, even with the recent price increase.

I played for half an hour expecting an interesting gameplay element involving the T-shape, but couldn't find one. It's progressing very slowly. I decided to wait for the reviews. The graphics were nice and cute though.

Right before you finish the demo, a new mechanic is introduced that will go along with the seemingly collectathon vibes the coins scattered throughout the world hint at.

Is it the flying move seen in the trailer? If so, even that was only mildly interesting. I hope it includes gameplay features interesting enough to justify making a T-pose kid the main character. What a silly idea, there must to be some crazy gameplay sections using that pose but we'll see. Wattam and noby noby boy weren't that great so I don't have high expectations.

I haven't watched the trailer, but I'd describe it has a helicopter jump.

This launched today on Steam (10% launch discount) and PSN (10% launch discount for PS+ members) and Xbox/GamePass (10% launch discount):

Played it for a while last night on the ole PC Gamepass.
Very kiddy game. Very slow.
If you were able to make it through Peppa Pig you might can stomach, I had to bail. :(

It reminds me a lot of the positivity of Mr. Rogers neighborhood mixed with Takahashi's distinct style sensibilities. It skews far younger than I was expected, but probably great if you have young ones running around your house.
