That's crazy!

I'm not a huge old-school Tomb Raider fan but I'll definitely snap this up. The fact that you can switch visuals on the fly is perfect.

Original games never got 60 FPS support because of engine limitations. And that original FMV's Lara model is sexy.

This is fantastic news for me. If it ever gets a physical version, it's mine.

Great surprise but did they get rid of the grid based control system?
That would require a lot of work to not make puzzling/exploration either trivial or unprecise.

Masterful, brilliant level design that more people get to enjoy that doesn't leave your eyes bloodshot. Gonna be good.
This is why i never liked the Anniversary remake. The main reason why the original game was great was all about that level design that doesn't adapt well to what that remake was going for.
Replaying the original levels will be amazing and this time with trophy support.

I remember the andoid/ios versions having redone textures. The company that worked on those ports apparently had TRIII in the works or at least tried to propose the idea to Squix but were turned down. I was bummed about that. I always felt these games would be great on the Switch back in its earlier days and now we have this. Gonna pick this up at some point.
