From the trailer i can't really tell if they changed the controls and if the pace of the game is any different...
They need to AT LEAST redo the controls for me to even consider buying the game.

Well Gard has said that there's a new animation engine to go along with the new control scheme.

CD has never been involved with the series before and Gard hasn't worked on a TR since the original.

I must say, I am ready again. Played the first one on my Voodoo 1 card and was blown away.

Played a little into 2 and 3 but it wasnt the same (sorry, more of the same).

Dont care about graphics too much, hope the gameplay is fun then probably get it on PSP.

He's only worked on Galleon since then. It's not just him though, its that CD is involved. Gard has been upset with what Core has done with the series and has spoken out about it quite a bit. CD is a company that's been making TR style games (Soul Reaver) for years and they've all turned out pretty damn good. So you put them together with this franchise and something good should come out of it.

CD did lose Amy Henning (spelling ?) to Naughty Dog though , she was their main story writer.
