As with every new Tony Hawks game, I have heard of less and less of these, but I am happy to see a new band I like (plus 44) on there, as well as some older stuff.
Anyway, I always find a new song I like, which normally leads to a new band I like, so its aaaaaaaaaall good.

That's some nice tunes. It kinda looks like they mixed it up a bit from the standard Emo/Punk rock that Tony Hawk's games' soundtracks are populated with (no offense to fans of that music... just isn't something I'm fond of...:D).

Bad Religion, Gnarls, Primus... looks pretty good. Don't know 75% of those bands but I have faith!

I will be turning off that dang Wolfmother song, it's already played out on the radio and it's in Tier 1 of GH2 and now this. Overload

Also, if they have Iron Maiden on Downhill Jam, why don't they just use it on this too?

I checked Wiki and they don't list Number of the Beast as being in THPS3. I swear it was.

What game was Number of the beast in then?????

Punk Rock Girl is probably the worst song ever written.
Why the **** am I hearing this stupid piece of shit popping everywhere again?
Was it in iPod commercial or something?
It sucked enough the first time around.

Good mix of genres and styles, IMO. I approve of this list :)

TH games have always had great soundtracks, even though none have matched the amazing soundtrack for THPS2.

The THPS games seem to do a good job hitting all genres. I like the way they've taken a neutral stance in the "hesh vs. fresh" thing -- including a good mix of hip hop and metal.

I think it's a pretty shortsighted to call the soundtracks of the games emo, they've always hit a variety of outsider rock -- metal, punk, etc.

Dead Milkmen, The – “Punk Rock Girl” - God, I used to LOVE these guys in 9th grade.
Eagles of Death Metal – “Chase The Devil”
Hieroglyphics – “At The Helm”
Hold Steady, The – “Your Little Hoodrat Friend” -- My wife hates the way this guy sings.
Jaylib – “The Red” -- JayDee & Madlib <3
Joy Division – “Interzone”
Kool and the Gang – “Summer Madness”
Liquid Liquid – “Optimo” -- Track is on the New York Noise Comp. by Soul Jazz AWESOME
Living Legends – “Moving at the Speed of Life”
Ministry – “Stigmata (Remix)” -- I wonder
Mogwai – “Glasgow Mega Snake”
The Ramones – “I Wanna Live”
Slayer – “Angel of Death”
Sonic Youth – “Nic Fit”

Between Guitar Hero II and this, I think The Sword are going to be the big winners in game music crossover.
