EDIT: Replace "good" with "surprisingly tolerable". Upon further reflection, the song wasn't "good", and it certainly wasn't "good" with an exclamation point for emphasis. But it's not bad imo.

Cruel Summer was the anthem to Karate Kid What a great movie btw, and Karate Kid II is severly underrated. In twenty years it shall be recognized as the classic that it is.

this freaking topic got me listening to 80's pop over the weekend, nonstop.
teddman, if you liked the guitar parts in cruel summer, check out "promises, promises" by naked eyes, it has similar funky guitar rythms. i like that a lot as well.
