A few games on this list are notably missing and a few titles are suprising.

First off, what happened to Battlefront? An excellent game, fairly new, with a hefty amount of sales. It should be in the top 5. Pandora Tomorrow? I know a lot of people were playing this quite regularly. Crimson Skies?

Props to CounterStrike. It is amazingly fun and addictive even with a controller. MS should get some new maps out to support this community. PGR2 still hanging in there.

Last week's Xbox Live rankings (most-played games on the Xbox Live service) shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, but it's worth noting that Xbox Live activity is up overall as a result of you know what. Which is cool for everyone. Thanks to Major Nelson from Xbox.com for collating this list.

My favorite Xbox Live games thus far are Halo 2, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, and Counter-Strike. But I think I might pick up Ghost Recon 2 sometime and give that a try.

I actually won a copy of PGR2 at the Halo 2 Midnight Madness, but I have yet to play it, and doubt I ever will.

Is Ghost Recon 2 actually fun? 16 player online co-op???

I didnt enjoy the first GR but GR2 is really fucking fun. Its a bit too camper friendly and sometimes you do end with 2 ppl running around on the opposite sides of a huge map but as long as you find a host who puts in some decent time limits its really fucking fun. 16 player co-op is an ubelievable rush.


Its a completely different experiance from halo 2 tho. You cant just run in shooting.

I will get DOA:U when it's out in Europe (January I think)... and I do want PES4. I really do, but it feels kinda stupid to have two versions of it. Might as well hold out for PES5 for the fully online experience.
