I must admit, having watched the trailer, the bronze age vs stone age twist has some novelty to me. At the same time, it feels... odd. The initial trailers previews gave off a solely prehistoric feel, so right now it kinda feels like the script got a drastic rewrite or something, even if this might well be what was intended all along.

I absolutely adore Aardman, but I did not expect this to be a damn football film. The "take him away and kill him.. slowly" joke was amazing though.

The fact that it's a January release has me all cynical because the studio doesn't have much faith in it BUT , it also looks pretty charming and I love me some stop motion animation so it's firmly in the "maybe" category.
