I dled a patch for a game and canceled the dl midway because I realized I had it backedup. What part of it I downloaded did stay however, and now I cannot delete it no matter what I do becuase it says its in use. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Reboot, then delete it.

Have you tried deleting it in safe mode?

If that doesn't work, you could try MoveOnBoot .

Probably that goddamn Windows 'bug'. After you select larger files, it will take some time (usually up to four seconds) to scan the file. I Presume you selected the file(s) and tried to delete immediately after? If that is the case, try to select the file(s), wait a couple of seconds, and delete them.
