Here's just some TRU info from my weekly or so update(for those interested).

Two new systems are listed in the TRU Computers. Theres a GC Ltd Ed PK XD Bundle listed. The Bundle is priced at $99.99 with no date yet, but it looks like Nintendo may actually be doing a good bundle for once for the holidays. The second is a GBA SP Sponge Bob system. Probably this years TRU exclusive system.

Also, TRU will actually be getting Madden in on time. There was a worry that they wouldn't since they sold over 500 copies of NCAA before the release date. TRU stores will get it Monday, but the system will not allow a sale before Tuesday. TRU was afraid they wouldn't be allowed to ship them until Tuesday thus causing a delay and everyone getting them from someone else, although the preorders are extremely low compared to last years numbers at TRU.

Wow. I'm shocked that Nintendo is actually planning on bundling a brand new game instead of something a few years old that no one cares about.

A Zelda bundle would be much, much, better though...even if they charged like $120 for it.

The people that really cared about those games bought them a long time ago.

Bundles sell because people like getting free stuff...not necessarily because they were really interested in those games.

As for the Zelda bundle... I think the reason the GC was in more demand that holiday season had more to do with the price drop to $99 ($79 at Walmart) than it did with those old games.

I'm actually surprised they didn't do this sooner. Especially over that godawful orange & green monstrosity that was last year's TRU exclusive.

I hope someone finally has an orange one as their exclusive this year, like the Torchic edition but without the Torchic silhouette.

As for the Zelda bundle... I think the reason the GC was in more demand that holiday season had more to do with the price drop to $99 ($79 at Walmart) than it did with those old games.

It had been $99 for over a year. The $79 at Wal-Mart was only for part of a day, and while it did have a huge effect that would only be on the November numbers.
