I guess we are in an era where turn based tactical rpg games are more popular than action games. Don't get me wrong, I love this genre, but this is very surprising.

I think XCOM: Enemy Unknown really opened up a lot of people to the genre. I can't even keep up anymore with new tactics releases, just finished up Midnight Suns and still have Rabbids 2 and Fire Emblem Engage to get to.

. . . and BT is fantastic. Looking at the gameplay, this looks like a evolution of the gameplay in BT and I'm all for it.

Also digging the character design, which has far more "character" than BT (which was all about the mechs anyway).

Gameplay-wise it sounds a lot like the second XCom 2 but this art style... meh....
