We need Ducktales on DVD, pronto.

I think Disney should go all out with that.

Release the entire Disney afternoon lineup on DVD.

Darkwing Duck
Talespin
Ducktales
Gummi Bears
Goof Troop
Gargoyles
Quack Pack

And whatever other show they hadm I would buy.

while i agree darkwing duck (best afternoon show ever) should be released on dvd, i don't even want to think about how much they would ask for the 300 dvds it would take

It's fucking stupid how these companies put 20-odd half hour shows on 4 dvds when the one hour shows put the same # of eps on just 2 extra DVDs. It's stupid.

Ducktales had, what, 120 eps? For a DVD release, they could put approximately 7 episodes on each DVD and have 5 DVDs per set while releasing 4 volumes. It shouldn't take more than that, but these companies like to bleed people dry.

This is why I'll never buy shows like the Sopranos or the Shield on DVD. It's too few eps, even though they are quality, for too much money.

Yeah, its cool as hell. For shows that aren't on 7 times a day in syndication at least. They can get hella expensive though. I keep telling myself that one day im just gonna splurge and buy EVERY SINGLE Sopranos season set, all at once.. Then i will go home and kill myself.

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
Sweet Jesus, commentaries on the Newsradio set would kick ass. I've been dying to get that thing even without any features, and I was supremely pissed when it was indefinitely delayed from its February date.

Anyway, I really love buying television shows on DVD. I have a hard time following shows on a weekly basis, and here it's easy for me to watch dramas and whatnot where watching them in order is important. I also really love having old animation on tap whenever I want, like the old Hanna-Barbera stuff or the Looney Tunes classics or just about anything. They're great entertainment and good historical stuff.

My current television collection:
Band of Brothers
The Best of the Muppet Show Volumes 1-10
Clerks Uncensored: The Animated Series
Cowboy Bebop: Sessions 1-6
The Flintstones: Season 1
The Jetsons: Season 1
Looney Tunes: Golden Collection Volume 1
Samurai Jack: Season 1
The Simpsons: Seasons 1 and 3
South Park: Season 3
The Twilight Zone: Collection 1

My list to buy:
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volumes 1 and 2
Batman: The Animated Series: Volume 1
The Complete Superman Collection: Diamond Anniversary Edition
Family Guy: Volumes 1-2
From the Earth to the Moon
Futurama: Volumes 1-4
Looney Tunes: Golden Collection Volume 2
Monk: Season 1
Newsradio: Seasons 1-2
Reno 911!
Sealab 2021: Season 1
The Simpsons: Season 4
Six Feet Under: Seasons 1-2
South Park: Seasons 4->forever
The Twilight Zone: Collections 2-5

All of that would make me broke for so, so long into the future.

I'd kill for Gargoyles on DVD. Damn I loved that show.

I like CSI but the price for the sets is insane. Southpark is highly priced but I love it so much I'm going to get them eventually. Any more than $2/hour of episodes is nuts.

"Action" & "Profitt" ("Proffit"?) need to make their way onto DVD asap. I wish I would've had a way to record them when the Trio Network ran both of them, in their fucking entirety! on their "Brilliant But Cancelled" series.
