There were only 40 episodes (Doomsday was the finale) and then they went and asked the Sentai company to film more footage for them.

Oh yeah, that makes sense as well. Every series after MMPR follows the more standard 40 episodes per season.

I know the feeling. I watched up to Turbo originally, and then the second movie just did not do it for me.

Kind of forgot about Power Rangers until years later when Disney started showing it on ABC on Saturday mornings. I think it was my freshmen year of college, and my mom calls me up and tells me I need to turn on the TV, cause Tommy was back.

Ended up really enjoying Dino Thunder, SPD, and RPM. Mystic Force was ok at points too.

I'm not sure if it's the camera or film that Japan used to use, but I REALLY like the way old Japanese shows used to look.

A lot of 90s Americans shows have a similar look, too, but I especially like Japan's.

By the time the original series ended, the pursuit of girls and video games were pretty much my only interests, haha. I do wish that I had kept watching some of the series because I don't know anything about any of the other spinoffs/universes of Power Rangers

The Psycho Rangers were great.

That entire arc is extremely well-done especially for being a PR story. Seeing the rangers actually use their brainpower to plan strategies was great.
