Amazing news for fight fans.

This is great news and I will watch a lot more UFC from now on. The prices were always too much for me to justify unless it was a really big fight.

Fighters arent smart so they will be satisfied by a 10% arbitrary bonus increase that 3 out of 24 employees on an average event will get.

You were paying like $85 or $95 a month if u were buying the ppvs so ufc fans will save some good money if you want to catch all the events

I'm legit curious Paramount+ will make any money from this

UFC got paid big bucks so they are happy

Paramount on the other hand, I guess they are desperate to get anyone to care about Paramount+ lol

A big part of the appeal of the UFC to TKO is that you can get those big rights fees for live sports without having to pay fighters like athletes in other sports.

Do they expect this deal to bring in over a billion dollars a year of NEW customers? I just don't see it.

Feel like trump helped Dana get this deal done behind the scenes somehow while paramount was trying to get the skydance merger approved. Seemed like a big surprise I thought it was just going to be espn and Netflix sharing events to get the billion dollar per year deal, never thought paramount was in the picture Big fat W for ufc and Tko. I'm guessing all the subscribers from espn plus will migrate to paramount and the almost weekly events will keep ufc fans subscribed throughout the year and then paramount will raise prices for their service if they see a big increase in subs to pay for the 7 year deal and probably hope they'll break even.
