Has anyone else (deg?) seen these adverts?

They make my ears bleed. They've gone for some random "Mario news" concept, but they didn't even get Charles Martinet to do the voice overs. Whoever does the voiceovers seriously makes my ears bleed.

Good to see them at least advertising though.

We've got em in Germany too. A german mario-speaker is worse than I could ever imagine. But at least Nintendo is doing some advertising for their games (there's a NFSU2-ad too where's only a GBA/GCN-logo at the end).

Havent seen them. Havent seen many game tv ads at all. Saw a HL2 ad, GTA, MOHPA and NFSU2 ad past week. I guess i am too old for Nintendo now.

The HL2 ad is stupid. They act like they dont need to advertise the game cos its so big or something

I haven't seen any video game ads on TV for a long time. I think the last one I saw was a wrestling game one or something like that. I don't watch enough TV really.

All I see is EA games ads (NFSU2 - Sims2 and Urbz)

and yet no ads at all for Tales or Paper Mario

That's another thing, what's with the Urbz adverts?

They've used "Let's get retarded" by the Black Eyed Peas, but obviously they didn't really want to use that particular phrase. So why not just use the bloody tv/radio edit where they say "Let's get it started" instead? But oh no, they just jumble up the words so it sounds like shit.

in Australia, for the past 4 month or so, all i've seen on TV is a PStwo ad, nothing else gaming related... (but then, i don't watch much TV these days).

seen tons of Halo 2 bus shelter and bus ads though.
