Back in May, award-winning composer and broadcaster Howard Goodall turned the spotlight on video game music as listeners and game music composers requested their favourite scores.

Tonight, Howard returns to the genre to look ahead to the 2014 Game Music Connect conference.

Now in its second year, Game Music Connect is an event created by composers James Hannigan and John Broomhall to celebrate and explore the music of video games and the extraordinary talent behind it. Held at London's Southbank Centre, the one-day event offers an unparalleled opportunity for composers and soundtrack fans to learn from some of the industry’s leading composers and music directors about the ins-and-outs of creating and placing music in games.

Tonight, Howard has music by the composers appearing at the conference as well as the scores that have influenced them in their careers. The show climaxes with brand new video game music, including an exclusive world premiere of the theme from Disney's Fantasia: Music Evolved.
