Heh, no, just a coincidence...didn't even know about the WiiU thing. Had posted earlier in the Vegas thread, and pointed out the Pinball Hall of Fame location there, which sparked me back into this.


Edit: hell, just noticed that I'm on the Gaming side....totally my bad...so rarely read Gaming that I didn't even think to double check.

The google maps blog is a good read in this case. They do like to show off and correct some misunderstandings.

That said I know Google have taken pictures of inside the Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station (I've even streetviewed it) but the street views under the Antartica section only seem to show the south pole where you can see the outside while facing north.

Of course ...... i wonder how the google car managed to get out of there complete. Now i get why there aren't directions inside the Colonia Jalisco here.

The Scott Hut is pretty damn awesome...


Guess I should have made it clear that I was talking about locations where they took their rigs, and not just neat pictures that were happened to be grabbed by the cars.
