So I picked up Sliders season 3 box set. I liked the slimmer packaging and that they ditched the foam floating-disc thing from the previous set.
That is, until I opened the thing and saw the horror of the packaging.
All four discs are double sided. That was bad enough, except they've crammed 2 discs on each side, with the top one half-covering the bottom one. So you've got use ninja-esqe techniques to get them out without smudging or scratching the other one. To make matters worse (it gets worse) there's this little plastic flap that keeps wanting to cover the discs, so you have to fight with that WHILE you are trying to get the discs out.
WTF kind of packaging is this?? There isn't even an episode guide leaflet. Just a advert for their other box sets. How the fuck did this pass the packaging conception phase?
