Yeah...I just found it @ beyond3d.com

Best graphic engine I have ever seen!!!

Here's what my cat thinks of this thread...

Just think of the next-gen consoles doing that shit at 60fps...wowza!

I think this will never happen... because if a console can do such things at 60fps, it means that it can pump even more impressive graphics at 30fps, so I'm ready to bet that many developers will once again choose graphic beauty vs higher framerate, and go for 30fps. At least this will be true for western developers, I think. For example, I would not be too surprised if Xenon has PGR3 running with super-stunning visuals, but at 30 fps ;-)

Nah...30fps is a thing of the past come next gen, you can count on that.

:lol

Remeber you said that... Unless it becomes part of the game approval process, that will never happen.

why not? All Unreal games have the nvidia "its ment to be played" logo. PS3 is nividia, they won't port it?

If that were true, you'd be playing UT2K4 on your Xbox right now.

Yes, but they've said that all the content you see in the demo is from an unannounced game. They've also said their next game isn't an Unreal title and have strongly suggested it will appear on Xenon (XBN said it would be a launch title, but I doubt it). Couple this with MS and Epic having a publishing deal and it all seems to fit (unless Epic has another game in the works that has nothing to do with the UE3 demo and also isn't part of the Unreal franchise).

yeah I agree, this will land on Xenon for sure ;)

They probably won't throw away the assets (detailed models, awesome environments etc) they have shown so far.

Tim Sweeney has already praised the fact a nVidia GPU is in PS3,it's a strong indication of Epic working on PS3 to me:

http://www.rednova.com/news/display/?id=109582

Tim Sweeney, CEO of EpicGames in Raleigh, N.C., and a well-known game developer, greeted the Nvidia-Sony deal with relief. He was worried that Sony's next-generation machine might be hard for game developers to program, much like the PlayStation 2 was. Nvidia's chip design is familiar to game developers.
"This eliminates a lot of uncertainty about the architecture," he said. "We're thrilled to see Nvidia in there."

I remember this oxygen fellow, he also said Sega Rally would never come to PS2. He was wrong.
I don't think the word 'never' was used. I'll take a mulligan on that call. Bad information.

MS has a publishing deal with Epic. Epic has a publishing deal with Midway for Unreal Universe games. This tells you what?

C'mon - it can't be that hard to comprehend. It's a Xenon game and it's got nothing to do with the Unreal franchise; that is, unless you're talking about the next gen Unreal engine.
