Nah...30fps is a thing of the past come next gen, you can count on that.

Doom_Bringer said:why not? All Unreal games have the nvidia "its ment to be played" logo. PS3 is nividia, they won't port it?
Redbeard said:Because it's being published by MS?
Redbeard said:It's not an Unreal game.
Redbeard said:Yes, but they've said that all the content you see in the demo is from an unannounced game. They've also said their next game isn't an Unreal title and have strongly suggested it will appear on Xenon (XBN said it would be a launch title, but I doubt it). Couple this with MS and Epic having a publishing deal and it all seems to fit (unless Epic has another game in the works that has nothing to do with the UE3 demo and also isn't part of the Unreal franchise).

Tim Sweeney, CEO of EpicGames in Raleigh, N.C., and a well-known game developer, greeted the Nvidia-Sony deal with relief. He was worried that Sony's next-generation machine might be hard for game developers to program, much like the PlayStation 2 was. Nvidia's chip design is familiar to game developers.
"This eliminates a lot of uncertainty about the architecture," he said. "We're thrilled to see Nvidia in there."
I don't think the word 'never' was used. I'll take a mulligan on that call. Bad information.Doom_Bringer said:I remember this oxygen fellow, he also said Sega Rally would never come to PS2. He was wrong.
