UPS redirected my package to Post Office?

Yeah, so I ordered some shoes on FinishLine.com and gave them my street address, but apparently it was sent to my Post Office. Problem is, I didn't give them my P.O. Box number. Can I still pick this item up? What do I do? Just go to the retail counter and explain the situation to them and tell them I have a package there for me?

UPS should have given you some sort of slip that says it was left at the post office, just take it to the post office and they can find it by your name, address.

Does the tracking# indicate that it has been delivered? If they shipped via UPS Mail Innovations the package is handed off to USPS where your mailman will complete the delivery.

I see, I would worry about my package if it weren't shipped to my place too, your post office should have the item the only problem is you might have to pay for the shipping, or a fee.

You sure it was delivered to them and not just temporarily passed on for the last-mile delivery?
This happens to me all the time. It's called UPS SurePost and it's the best way for a business to lose my continued patronage.

My area's got a decent post office thankfully, so I don't mind the service. Last-mile is apparently the most expensive part of the delivery, so I can understand grouping stuff with mail that has to be delivered anyway; but yeah it sucks for those like OP whose deliveries get delayed

Our local post office is terrible. UPS will drop stuff off for SurePost, and it's usually 6-7 business days later that it will arrive at my house. Having stuff delayed for over a week is usually very not cool with me.

UPS has a few names for this. SurePost was mention but UPS Mailing Innovations is another. UPS basically does the legwork of bringing it to your local area and then passes it off to USPS to finish the delivery. If you know USPS has the package and tried delivering it to you, you can usually call them up and ask where to go to pick up the package, as I recall.

It'll take at most a day more for it to come

I dislike this UPS-USPS pass off because my mailman doesn't like coming up my driveway in the truck and won't even bother to deliver my packages, so I'll just get the pink slip and have to make a 8 mile trip to the office (which is difficult being without a vehicle rn). I wish UPS would go back to delivering, they are so much more reliable

They can do that bro. You just have to pick that shit up from post office.

Yeah, I didn't get a slip or anything and I was home all day, so I know UPS didn't try to deliver it to me. I paid for UPS Ground shipping which pisses me off since now I have to drive to the Post Office. I was looking over the e-mail and it contradicted itself. One thing said UPS would attempt a re-delivery on the 23rd, but it also said it was already delivered to my Post Office. It said I would need my ID, so yeah. I will walk in there with that and the tracking number in tow. They better have my shit or I'll burn the motherfucker down. I want my Kyrie 6's.

Sounds like Sure Post. It's a handoff and the delivery day is to the post office. From there expect a day or two to get to you. I've been seeing that a bit lately.
