Yeah, I read that thread. I am not surprised tough. They destroyed Wu's image, and shoved Furios Ming into the background. They cluttered it up horribly as well. I highly doubt that Bioware's artists had anything to do with this boxart though. I would have been satisfied with Furios Ming doing a Bruce Leeish pose, or you could replace Ming with Wu or Tiger Shen, but I don't see the point in putting those enemies on the cover.

Nah, between XSied Piper on cellphones, the upcoming XS anime series starting January 5th, and the upcoming XS DS game the series is far from dead. Plus when ep2 came out in Japan, interviews seemed to indicate they were working on ep3 or at least about to start.

Though then again it seemed like they were working on ep2 when ep1 came out, but due to poor sales and stuff they scrapped their work and started over with ep2. So now after ep2 getting poor reviews and poor sales again they might have scrapped all their ep3 work.

Well, seeing as how Matrix Online takes place AFTER Revolutions (when both Neo and Trinity are dead) who are they going to put on the cover?

Now, it's possible Neo isn't dead, but they could be saving something like that until later in the game's life and they wouldn't want to spoil it by slapping him on the box.

The following games were dropped by Microsoft. They weren't 1st part developers, but games that MS just decided, for whatever reason, they weren't going to publish.

Tork = Picked up by Ubi and IIRC, slated for all consoles but later it became Xbox exclusive again
True Fanatasy Live Online = Dropped, won't see the light of day this gen
Psychonauts = Picked up by Majesco, slated for Xbox & PS2
Oddworld Stranger = Picked up by EA, originally slated for Xbox & PS2 but later became Xbox exclusive again
