[Straightballin]

I currently have 3 packages being shipped to me using USPS. I tried using the tracking/confirmation number but they dont give me any info about were my package is or when it is coming wtf. Two were shipped on Aug 1st and one on Aug 2nd. Does anyone know how to get the info? I already tried calling.

It's probably Delivery Confirmation, right? It doesn't really work like a UPS or FedEx tracking number. Usually the only info you'll get is when it arrives at your local post office, and then, the time that it's dropped off (that's usually the same day). It's almost useless, and only good for the sender to know that you got your stuff. The most info you'll get is going to 'track/confirm' at USPS.com.

Well usually it takes 24-48 hours for tracking info to show up cause the truck has to pick it up, then take it to the first station where it is scanned and entered into the system. Tracking an overnight package is almost useless cause of the turn around time for their tracking system lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Thanks for the info man. How long do you think its going to take to ship from CALI to Ohio. Its most likely the standard shipping thing. And do they use a plane or is it ground the whole way.

Ground is Ground, probably gonna hop a UPS frieght truck and take a long ride. Then again who knows. What youll see on tracking is it being recieved, then it moving around in that area, then you wont see anything until it hits a center close to its destination.

They tie it to the back of a specially trained team of quadraplegic sea lions, who flop across these great United States on their stomachs, loping casually towards your home. Ha ha! I am just kidding, of course. The sea lions have not actually been trained.

seriously, it usually shows up as delivered a couple days after you get it...

it's more of a convenience for the shipper it seems...

Yeah tracking is pretty useless. Its only useful if it says it was delivered and the guy didnt get it then you can yell at them. So other than that it doesnt say much else interesting.

I had the same problem just a few days ago, I had 2 packages shipped to me from the same place with tracking and for 4-5 days all it showed was "Electronic Shipping Info Received", then mid day yesterday I checked again and both changed to "Enroute" and sure enough when I got home they were both sitting there on my balcony.

UPS and DHL tracking is much better. They actually give you an estimated time of arrivail and were it is.

And they usually do not update the info until late at night, so...yeah, it's fairly useless.

It's not tracking, it's delivery confirmation. Basically they confirm that it's delivered. They do not necessarily track it all along the way. I like it though. It's free when you do it online.
