I've been playing around with this new LG VX8100 phone (which is awesome since it has every feature you could want) and watching some of the Vcast videos like Daily Show clips, the shuttle landing. Its freakin crazy. I never knew this was that good? Does any other provider have these features or is it just mobile internet hoopla? I think this is going to take off if they can make it cheap....

Yeah, the price could change a bit but I think that will once it becomes more prevalent. The point I was trying to make is that I am impressed by the VX8100 being able to stream those videos in such high quality. This VX8100 is one sweet little gadget for a Verizone phone. Anyone else have one?

The screen is TINY. Its like watching a postage stamp on your monitor screen. It doesn't require a lot of bandwidth to stream that.

Nevertheless, VCast is pretty cool.

Well, you do carry it in your pocket. I mean its not a computer monitor. But for the size, yeah I thought it was pretty cool.

It's only good for people who use their cell phones as modems

Sprint has launched it, but it's no phones out that use it yet.

does it support mp4? Nero recode is pretty good at redoing your DVDs down to an acceptable size - you can get a mobile size movie on a 128MB card.
