release date seems to be 30 October 1987 but i've seen 10 October 1987 listed, and probably other dates too, but all in October 1987. i don't know off-hand what games launched with the PCE, and havent looked for a launch list yet.

I always forget that the DC launched in 98. And people want to put dreamcast as part of this generation? I'd say that Sega made the mistake of releasing two systems in the same generation. 4 years in-between hardware? When they launched first in the generation?
