Some of us here in Europe would really appreciate it if some mod could update this OP with a link that brings us directly to a replay stream of the VGAs without being confronted with all revealed games.

Just wake up, head over to gametrailers. Watch the five 55 second clips and be done with it. The VGAs are a shit show every year.
 
I just won't bother man, I'll wake up, head to my PC and experience all the announcements later on.

I did stay up late in 2010 and I said I wasn't going to do it again.

what VGA's? And why do they matter or would you expect games to be 'revealed' there?

Or would you mean "which one is da bessd"? Because if so, holy shit do you need another hobby.for real

Ha, damn, I wish man. I hit the hay at half 12 and I am ready for it. About 6 years ago when I was a student, I would have zombied out in front of my laptop with a box of potato waffles and still been going in the morning no problem. Last year though I had to throw the towel in on staying up to watch the UFC shows </3 if I can't do that, I doubt I'll do this.

As someone who hates spoilers even for the tiniest of things, I support this thread (even though I think the VGAs aren't that big of a deal :p)

Of course it's for the reveals, in case you missed it there are going to be 5 new reveals tonight http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=502195

Last year it was Last of Us and the year before it was Skyrim, so it could actually be worth it.

....except it won't, but that's another story.
 
I'd also love to watch the VGAs. Shame they start at 2am UK time, and I'm working all weekend.

So yes, I agree with the purpose of this topic.

For announcements? More than likely.
For new gameplay footage? Not even close. E3 easily wins.

And for those wondering, the VGAs have had at least one major announcement for the past few years.

2009 had Arkham City announced.
2010 had Skyrim announced.
2011 had The Last of Us announced.
 
If anyone who enters this thread is thinking about posting something to the ring of "why does this thread exist?" it might be wise to think again. If you don't like a thread, ignore it.

What's with all the negative comments? Geez, if people want to sleep then let them sleep. The show is somewhere between 02:00 and 05:00 depending on where you live in Europe, and some people work on weekends. Also, some people don't want the reveals spoiled. No reason to act like jerks...
 
You'd better bookmark the thread and go directly to it in the morning. Because if you wake up and check the gaming forum homepage, you're bound to crash into News on the front page before you find it.

I'll probably stay awake myself though. Go to sleep at 3-4 am!
