"I don't really pay attention to the political situation, it's just so decadent!" could be used for a lot of non-food things in life.

e: The torching scene at the end seems to be pretty thorough but I see the bacteria issue if you're going to cut it open right after and let all the innards hang out since that seems to be an easy time for bacteria to move to the skin.
