I've been working on a fansite for this one video game series, the general SMT stuff, for a few months now. I recently got a Japanese promo DVD for the Digital Devil Saga games on the PS2 that includes a few trailers and songs.
I've tried so many things, but my best results have come from using DVDx to rip the video and encode it directly with the xvid codec.
My main problem is that I have no idea what to do to add a logo in the bottom right corner like you see on so many other similar sites. I tried using Adobe Special Effects, but the final product had the logo incredibly blurred even though I had the output set on "high". That and the resulting Quicktime was 700 MBs (I only use this program for school -- and rarely -- so I don't really know what to do to save decent looking, small video).
Does anyone have any suggestions? My current AVIs are about 22MBs for a nice 720x480 video that runs around 3 minutes with sound. I really don't want to have to go far above that.
Thank you.
