Video Games Live is that Tommy Tallarico/Jack Wall video game music concert that was supposed to be good. I purchased tickets for it off Ticketmaster once I heard it was coming to Columbus, OH, and have waited.
After the date being bumped back a few days once, I was ready to hit the concert tonight, but suddenly everything's saying that it's not happening. Ticketmaster list today's date, and says they shipped the tickets, but also say it's "Delayed." I first called up the ampitheater, no mention of it on the schedules, or the websites. The Video Games Live website has their schedule taken down, saying they're going to repost it "soon," and a note on their front page talking about the success of their July 6th show, and that they're rescheduling because of it to include more cities. Don't worry, though, the new schedule will be up sometime next week. (I remind you that it's August 25th.)
I called up the box-office, and the woman said something about a "rain-in" in November. I'm a little pissed, honestly, because I dropped $134.15 and got good seats, but who knows if I'm guaranteed them now.
Are they really pissing off tons of people who already bought tickets and messing up show dates just so they can milk things a bit more, or are they still quietly following the schedule, or is there some new schedule that they haven't updated their site with yet? Or is something else going on that they just don't want to talk about publicly?
