I'm trying to make an animated gif for an avatar and I used to use some small app called AVI MPEG splitter, but it's not loading files anymore. What's a good small app that I can load up say a 30 minute episode of something, cut a chunk out and then use a gif animator to make the gif. I'm already using ULEAD Gif Animator, I just need something to make the avi smaller to load into the animator.
