I have this total geeky wallet that looks like a gameboy (with the buttons and everything). An ex got it for me awhile ago, now it's quite...odd lol.
 
I am a front pocket wallet man, after having migraines and back issues I figured out my wallet was pinching a nerve, went front pocket and never looked back, plus its harder for people to pick pocket.

anyways just 2 days ago I got a slim clip at Target for 4.99 oh god I love it.

That looks awesome. How many cards does it hold? I already use a money fold for my cash so it would be great to eliminate the wallet completely.

Package says it holds 6 but I got about 8 in there no problem!
 
Anyone know where I can get a super-skinny wallet? One with really thin (but not necessarily flimsy) material, one pocket for the bills (not two like some wallets have), and minimal slots for cards? I've only ever found one, but they were really girly looking. I really want something that will take up minimal space in my pocket.

This is similar to what I use except mine has a see-through part in the front where you can see my drivers license, which I really love since I never have to pull it out when I have to show it. The wallet is really slim and fits in any pocket easily without bulging. I never carry cash so it works out well.

I use something similar to this. If you drive a lot, it's kind of inconvenient to always take your wallet out of your back pocket since it's uncomfortable not to. Then I'd always constantly check my back pocket to make sure my wallet was there. Using a clip and keeping all of your money/cards in your front pocket is the way to go. It's smaller than a wallet and you're much less likely to get pick pocketed or have your wallet fall out of your pocket accidentally.

I carry the Slimmy, also. I have a View Slimmy, which turned out to be superfluous since everyone asks me to take the ID out anyway. It's nice to hide a bit o' cash behind, though.
 
I have basic black fossil bi-fold wallet. I think it was like 20 or 25 bucks. I don't like tri fold because of the way it folds money.
 
Best way to get a nice wallet is as a present, I think. Got a Lancel wallet as a graduation gift from some family friends in France, and, as much as I love it, I wouldn't buy something like that with my own money.

If I had to buy one myself, I'd get one of those Slimmys. They seem really sleek and convenient.

And yeah, thread reminded me of Tonay. Good times.

The only problem with that is if you need to carry different IDs (driver's license, school ID), train tickets, subway tickets etc.

I just use a simple bi-fold wallet. The tri-fold ones are annoying.
 
My friend started a custom wallet business. I bought one a while ago and it is AMAZING. He's a total detail freak and it shows. He somehow got hooked up with COACH and they do amazing quality leather work.

Yeah. I got the view Limmy because I thought it would be convinient. I think the plastic window makes the otherwise minimalist design a little tackier so I am thinking of sending it back and getting a regular slimmy.

Nice. I have a Kenneth Cole wallet that's quite similar to the black one. Only difference is it contains a 'window' pocket, and has some extra card slots on the outside.
 
I gave up on ye olde wallet. My wallet would always become this giant .. thing. I would keep items of random value in there and it would eventually grow to a large size before finally emptying it out (months later). Numbers, messages to my self (which I never read of course) and whatnot.

I don't even use a clip or anything, I have a couple cards and just wrap the cash around it and keep it in my front pocket.

Gentlemen of GAF (particularly UK-GAF), this thread needs a resurrection in order to save me from carrying around a behemoth wallet. As much as I love my Remington wallet, I find that it is no longer serving my needs as I am increasingly going light on cash.

So, I saw the Quicklet YouTube video and that seems pretty awesome and more or less exactly what I want. Alas, I can't seem to find a decent reseller in the UK and I'm not going to go and import a fucking wallet, so I turn to you distinguished folk. Need something that carries mostly cards, little cash, and can buy in the UK. Money clips are where I instinctually turn to but I'd like something more contained like how the Quicklet seems to work... I'm clumsy enough, I don't want to pull all the cards out to have them fall...
