Even funnier is the fact that the domain was created in 2004, meaning that Microsoft actually went out of his way to buy the domain back from someone else.
There HAS to be a wallguy mode or parody in PDZ !

Considering it looks like they got the domain in July, that's quite unlikely. The wallguy "craze" only lasted a couple of weeks even here on GAF.

Read this thread for the Wall Guy legacy. It started with the release of the screen in the first post (in a seperate thread). The guy against the...wall...was named Wall Guy. Subsequent sticky thread ensured his immortality. Some of the best photoshops and animated GIFs ever to hit GAF are in that thread.

Does MS fear the wrath of GAF? Or will we actually get an exclusive wallguy tribute in PDZ? Only time will tell.

Looking back at those photos it is almost eerie how bad the game characters looked. I have to know though who was the very first one to say "Wallguy" and then "Wallace Guyford". Somebody grab the latter's domain and wait for the money to roll in.

Hmm, good find. Seems to be a common tactic to buy out domains harmful to your company's interests. They probably employ a small team just for this purpose.

I'm not sure who the first one to say "Wallguy" is, but I came up with the name "Wallace Guyford" and worked with Sho Nuff on the text of his GIJOE card. I wrote most of his bio/background, Sho Nuff wrote his weapons proficiencies and "field report" as well as did the actual photoshop. It was a team effort, though!

I hope Wallace Guyford makes it into PDZ!!
