Walmart did not big overnight. They've already taken my money weeks ago.
And most orders were online so what is your point?Disaster? The issue mostly when ordering from online, pre-ordering retail store was practically painless.
PS5 launch was way more pain in the ass even in retail.
Ordering consoles from online was always disaster, that was true for PS5 as well. And most orders were online so what is your point?
That's a nice heap of garbage there.I went to my local Walmart today and they had a bunch of Switch 2s in stock. The guy who was working electronics told me that one of them is mine since I'll be having it delivered from the store on Thursday.

I paid with PayPal and they pulled the money for the full amount immediately. I bought 2 from Walmart and I've kind expecting them to cancel one. That's why I have 1 at GameStop and another via Nintendo.com. The Walmart orders are still good, though. Expecting at least one of them to come through.
I know you're just kidding, but they're for me and my sons. We already sold our Switch 1s in anticipation.Damn, you couldn't stick to maybe getting two at two different stores? No wonder I couldn't get this.

Apparently Walmart is well known for not charging when you buy something online and then months later when you've completely forgotten then they charge you out of the blue.
There seem to be a lot of us on Reddit that never got charged by Walmart but then some are saying they've had this happen in the past with them and they finally got charged months later.
Should be illegal or have a time limit imho. It's really inconvenient to have to keep the money in your account but then remember not to spend it and then checking for months to see if they took their money or not.
I just deleted my account and don't plan to shop online with them going forward.
Still no charge almost a month later for me so far...

Pretty sure they only charge when before getting ready to ship....
No I'm saying I received my Switch 2 (it shipped and I have it) but I never got charged for it.Standard process is to charge when item ships?
When companies charge before sending product, they are vilified and called out?
Oh I see yeah I definitely missed the point. Yeah that's pretty abysmal lolNo I'm saying I received my Switch 2 (it shipped and I have it) but I never got charged for it.
Apparently they'll charge me a month or two from now based on what folks are saying
