do these come painted? I know it sounds stupid but if they do, then do you know anywhere i can buy non-painted warhammer statues of this size?

Stuff like that always comes assembled and painted. American toymakers don't do the Japanese kit thing, as a rule.

I remember THQ was giving us those during the run-up to Fire Warrior. Ultramarines statues or something like that.

Hah. You should see some of the stuff around this house - there are various people in the UK who do one-off and short-run Warhammer 40K busts. My housemate's a fan, and we have more Ork busts than you can shake a Grot at.
