Yes this game should require you to play without any lights on in a dark environment with your speakers cranked up. This is meant to be a very atmospheric game with immersive visuals to really tool with your mind and scare you.

Right now I'm in 1024x768 in Medium Detail. I haven't tweaked anything yet, and I should. Here's a few random shots, I'll take some better ones later.

I'm running a P4 2.8ghz with HT, 512 ram and a Radeon 9800 pro 128mb vid card.

That last shot is a neat little egg. The logo of the company is below the shot. I forget what it is, but it's an obvious spoof on Capcom. You just click the screen over and over and gain points. Nothing much too it.

More fun shots. I've been through the first area where I'm attacked, and I was jumping left and right. Yelped a couple times too.

Someone is not feeling too well. Must be a stomach bug. A STOMACH BUG FROM HELL.

Another nice shot up close of someone talking to me.

The flashlight makes things look really nice. In motion, you can see the little dust particles flying around in your beam of light. Looks VERY nice.

A little sentry leads me to my first mission.


I forgot to take good shots of combat, it gets pretty intense fast. If anyone can, they should probably 56k warn this thread.
