My main computer is a Mac Mini but the gpu for playing WoW is lacking slightly. My friend gave me her old Dell desktop so I could get a beefier gaming performance out of it. Here are the specs...

Windows XP
Pentium 4 3.20ghz
Radeon X800
1GB of Ram

I was wondering if anyone had any tips or maybe custom drivers for the Radeon are out there? Omega hasn't updated since EARLY this year and was looking for that and maybe some other tips that would make the same run a bit smoother. Thanks.

I don't think you need to worry about getting it to run smoothly besides having updated drivers and not having too many bloated applications running in startup
Nvidia has custom drivers going around, I don't know about ATI

At the moment I have nothing in startup. Just seems like the ATI Catalyst software seems a bit weird and also I have no idea whats going on with the whole DirectX scene. To fully update I would need Vista?
