Was The Punisher pc game any good?

I played the demo, and it sucked. Everything was really choppy and slow, and the mouse was unresponsive in the torture sequences. Did the final version improve over the demo?

Sounds like your PC sucks to me, it was smooth as butter on my machine.

And it was an ok game with hilariously violent moments, the action is good, but not max payne good.

That's how it ran for me, untill i turend aa off.
The demo was kinda fun, but i haven't played the full game yet.

I got the Xbox version, it was pretty damn fun, but you gotta be a Punisher fan to really appreciate it. The movements are a bit stiff and there's no jump button but it handles well, aside from a few camera angle issues.

Like someone above me said, it's similar to Max Payne but without the level of interactivity with surroundings like Max Payne has. A few glasses and windows might shatter here and there but that's it.

What's even better if you're a modded XBox owner is unlocking the original uncut version, with tons more gore and violence. I didn't even give this game a second glance until a buddy hipped me to it. A good way to relieve work stress at the end of a long day. I like the AO version a lot! ;)

Yeah, the quick kills are what make this game so great. The Wilson Fisk and Yakuza buildings are the best stages for carnage, They're like one huge throat slitting, head stabbing, shoot out masterpiece.

How?

I'm not sure how is it in the Xbox version, but I was reading that there are Action Replay codes for the PS2 version to remove the black & white filters during the gruesome deaths.
