We’re getting another V/H/S flick

I don't think I finished the last one. I remember the airplane story being entertaining. The Indian pop star story was dreadful. Can't remember the others. Maybe a zombie go pro one?

First one is good and the rest all stink. Many such cases.

The poolhouse and airplane jump stories were right up my alley way. I love lowbudget scifi horror. And low budget cosmic horror like The Endless. Ghost stories are not my cup of tea though so I think I'll skip this one.

I don't know if I've seen em all. I think I've seen four of them.

The best short, imo, was the cultist one where it goes off the rails at the end. Or was that its own standalone movie?

And the succubus from the very first VHS was fiiiiine. But she would've never gotten me because I know a girl that cute showing interest in me has nefarious motives.

Gareth Evans is the one who directed Safe Haven. He also did The Raid films so I'm not surprised with that short ending up being great

I'm pretty sure they're churning these out yearly at this point, and as a result of this pace they seem to have become more flippant and have been greenlighting some really terrible segments. The 90s girl rock band one comes to mind, as well as the Mexican earthquake one.

But thankfully there's still usually at least one good segment per movie.
