It's hard to review games as unique at Katamari and do them justice. If you tell someone you roll a ball around and pick stuff up, they're going to think it sounds dumb. Sometimes, words and reviews just can't do games justice literally. I support this review method!

I still remember one of the letters written to Next Gen all those years ago when they were asked why some reviews are longer than others. The staff said it has been their wish to review a bad game with this review only for the text : "This game sucks"

Unique review. Very unique. After playing and beating the game and continuing to play the game, I must say that 8.5 is just the right score for the game. It develops the characters much more than the first game did and while the gameplay hasn't changed much, there are changes that make it feel new. Different types of katamari rolling missions and co-op mode. The "music is bland" comment is taking it way too far. There are a lot of great tracks in the game but it doesn't compare to the original's soundtrack.

A poor attempt at trolling, as their self-aggrandizing shitty comics are backed up with text. When they editorialize a strip-based review out, they almost always have an actual review up. Jeremy Parish is doing nothing but raping the concept of journalism in the boat that Tim Rogers built years ago. Instead of cleverness such as that that Dave F. Smith has displayed in the past, Parish leaps over the thin line into stupidity, then rolls around like a moron to get praised.

When he can learn to seperate ego-stroking and opinion forcing from reporting about the game at hand, then I can respect his writing.
