Weaksauce gamers that are quitting DMC3 because it's "too hard"

I'll trade you ZOE2 for it :lol

Come on, if you really think it's that hard, how long have you been playing videogames? I bet 8 bit action games stomp all over DMC3 in terms of frustration. Hell I can't stand the Megaman series but DMC? Sure it's frustrating, but I never even considered quitting, same for Ninja Gaiden.

Are the cool DMC1 combos back? Specifically the one where you slash the enemie upwards and keep on shooting him with your guns?

If they had kept the Japanese continue system (but kept the US difficulty), I would have been fine with that. Replaying through a level after dying at a boss doesn't make it more difficult, it just makes the game stupidly tedious. It was absolutely moronic of Capcom to change it for the US release.

The system is same as it is in the US version.

You buy yellow orbs, they act as your continues.

They cost 3,000 orbs, and let's just say the orb count in DMC3 is in yen. With that said, you'll find more than enough orbs if you don't run from fights.

This thread is completely unnecessary, as there is not only an official DMC3 thread but also one that addresses this very same topic- difficulty.

Was your extremely short comment too important to be placed in Leguna's thread?

i like the megaman X series though, and I loved megaman 7, but anything MM1 to 6 can kick the bucket.

Don't the continues let you continue right where you die in the Japanese version? I'm pretty sure someone else said that in another thread.
