yeah the brits have the worst game-taste in the world I think

makers of such crap as Fantastic 4 and Madagscar can always be sure to sell lots in at least one country

The share of Killer 7 is 95% PS2 and 5% GCN?

Well it got No.1 in the Cube chart and missed out on a top 20 place in the PS2, so I'd say no to that. But then no.1 on Cube means nowt in the UK.

Very slow week though.

Vice verser, the Cube version has been selling relatively well (particularly at online retailers) whereas the PS2 version has been largely ignored.

It only came out on Friday I think... and this isn't like Japan where a shitload of sales happen on the first day. Hopefully next week it scores a decent position.

I wouldn't be surprised if the PS2 version overtakes it eventually, but initially I'd imagine it'll be cube sales. The PS2 media here are giving it a pretty low priority, whereas it's quite literally the only Cube release of interest since Resident Evil 4 arguably... it's been cover story on all the cube mags at some point in the last couple of months.

Me and a couple of the guys at work bought it on Cube anyhoo. Gonna go play it in a minute actually..

15th for Killer 7 is a bloody decent position, it will slip next week, no doubt. I can only see the PS2 version becoming bargain bin within the coming months, while you won't be able to get the Cube version anywhere. But like I said, sales are very slow this time of year and 15th in the All Format chart could be something as low as 2000-5000 copies max.

It'll have a better weekly figure next week. This chart will likely only cover to Saturday. SO that's Friday and Saturday and that's it. It's had near zero publicity apart from in the magazines I mentioned. Adoption won't have been that rapid. If it's lower next week, that's either other new titles eclipsing it and knocking it down the chart, or it's just another instance of the UK sucking ass and Capcom unleashing their latest Capbomb.

15th isn't that bad. It's such a niche title and one that so many people are so ignorant towards that they won't even try it...it's easier to call it crap than to play it and form your own opinion. The identikit reviews of the game prove that. Is it any wonder that it won't sell well?
