Wendy's has a new value-priced cheeseburger just in time for Memorial Day weekend with the new, limited-time Steakhouse Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe for $1.49.

Touting it as "Steakhouse taste without steakhouse price," the new burger features a junior hamburger patty seasoned with Montreal steakhouse seasoning, topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, seasoned butter spread, and a garlic aioli sauce made with a combination of roasted garlic, onion, and Dijon mustard on a hamburger bun.

Basically, the new burger is a Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe but with the addition of the steakhouse seasoning and garlic aioli instead of pickles, mayo, and ketchup.

As usual, $1.49 is the suggested price and it may vary a fair bit depending on your location.

How about fuck American cheese? Wendy's doesn't even offer an alternative like every other shitty chain. I can even get cheddar on a terrible McDonalds burger. No cheddar, No Wendy's.

I'm not sure why people are impressed by the price?

It's a regular Jr. Cheeseburger at Wendy's with some seasoning?

Is the fact that Wendy's offers spicy chicken nuggets at the same price as regular chicken nuggets impressive too?

Everywhere I've been the spicy are cheaper than regular. like $1.49 to .99

Yes. How do they sell the regular burger at that price?

Do you by chance live in Bizarro World?

Edit: Ah I do remember Wendy's offering the spicy variant cheaper for some amount of time when first introduced to encourage sales of them. By me though in Illinois and in California the prices for both equalized

Yes. How do they do it?

Clearly black magic and ritual sacrifices of goats to the fast food gods twice a year...

Texas. When I do I want the regular instead of spicy and the extra quarters don't end that but I always found it weird it was spicy as cheaper.

Hey Wendy's (because surely Wendy's corporate is on NeoGaf):

Bring back the damn Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger. Seriously. I need it. And people apparently loved it, so why not bring it back? Unless maybe they hate selling burgers.

Wendy's taking naming inspiration from Capcom. Will not buy until they release Ultimate Steakhouse Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe Turbo: Advance Edition.

The pretzel burger was extremely tasty, but holy shit was it a messy burger since that pretzel bun never absorbed a damn thing.
