I was browsing the local bookstore, and saw some movie art books on display. I haven't bought any previously, but it might be something I'd enjoy. What are some of your favorites? I'm looking at one for Krampus that seems pretty cool...the movie had some great creature designs.

Side note: Why aren't art books like these available on ebooks or tablets? Seems like a no brainer.

Not 100% an art book, but I have the Guillermo del Toro book that features tons of excerpts from his diaries with original sketches and musings. Plus it details his fucking awesome haunted mansion he owns (complete with a writing room made so that it appears it's always storming out the window) and lots of good insight on his creative process. Highly recommend it.

Rise of the Guardians book is great if you like Rise of the Guardians....actually I would have a hard time telling you a bad artbook for animated movies.

The prequel trilogy Star Wars books are phenomenal. Mine are tattered. It all depends on what kind of films you like really...
