My routine has become wake up, go to class, come home, study, sleep, repeat. s\ldfhusdiuofhsdfkl HELP ME

Welcome to life.

Get used to it.

Once you get past this you'll replace :go to class" and "study" with "work" and "pay bills".

Five minute or less "pseudo-meditation". Basically I just sit somewhere (with a back), close my eyes, try to shut everything out, and empty my mind as best I can in a short period. Not actual meditation or anything (usually to many distractions) but it refreshes me something wonderful.

Do you find this calms you down for when you get back to work or just for the time you're doing it? Sometimes I'll listen to a song but as soon as it's over I'm like fuuuuuuck and just want to play another and another.

Do something creative. Or smoke weed. Or both- they work well together.

You really have problems if you need drugs or alcohol to make you feel better for a little while. Fuck that shit. Don't fall for this trap OP. Just find an interesting hobby or get a girlfriend.

I'm not sure if calm down is the right term. What it does do is help me shut out all of the worries and thoughts about previous things that happened in the day (or will happen), and focus on what I'm doing now. (I mean, I still think about them, but not in a mind-racing "okay, I've got this, this, that, and that other thing to deal with)

Wait, that's supposed to relieve stress?

honestly, i find working out and exercise the best things to do to de-stress. some push-ups here, bicep curls there or just jogging for 20 minutes to clear my mind.

nothing has worked better for me than exercise to relieve stress.

Listen to some good tunes while sitting in a comfy chair for a half hour. If you smoke, do that as well. Read a book maybe if you don't want to just lay back and listen to music.

Only think about the first thing that you have to finish next, but also think about the distant future during your free time - you know, where you want to go in your life. Trying to think about everything you have to do at once will make you go mad and doesn't accomplish anything.

Honestly I say this to everyone I come across that's stressed but: just get outside, take in the night air, maybe go for a drive with music blasting. The fresh air will do you good.

Music and brief resting.

Close your eyes and breathe deeply for 10 minutes. Also writing helps. Write down all the things that are stressing you out and why.

This ends badly for me.

Studying takes hours, paying bills takes minutes.
