What do you do to relieve stress when you don't have time to relieve stress?

I make sure to always put at least 45 minutes to 1 full hour of exercise at least 5 days a week. It helps me relieve stress since I get to use it whenever I can between studying to take a break, the endorphins feel great, and afterwards I'm usually completely refreshed mentally.

Try it.

What's your schedule like? The only time I felt like you was when I was working a job during the week. All of my days were basically 8-6, I was tired all the time and I lived for the weekends.

But, my anecdote aside, my advice would be to try and study smarter. If you have time in between classes, try to get work done then. And maximize your class time, take good notes so you can be lazy later. Unless you're overloading on high level classes, I think there should be enough free time to keep you sane.

I sit in my car, engine off, stereo off. Just sitting there. It's quiet. If it's really hot out even better so it's like a mini sauna.

My routine is "Wake up, go to class, come home, change into work clothes, go to work, come home, go to bed"

Repeat. FML.

Exercise. Rigorous arm thrusts.

Cue Julie Andrews singing "My Favorite Things".

In all seriousness: You should try to give yourself 1 hour of me time per day, at which time you do what YOU want to do. What I do, personally, is distract myself with a good book or some crossword puzzles. Alot of times I eat too (thank God I work it off lol), but I don't recommend that as stress relief. Also, nothing quite beats a good cup of tea. You can get Tension Tamer tea, or anything with chamomile and/or lavendar is soothing.

Good luck!
