Yesterday was the first time I actually watched some of it.

It looked like it was some type of family oriented ET/Harry and the Hendersons series.

Then I saw the ending(which was kinda cool). And the preview for next week.

What's happened so far? Is it a sci-fi monster show? Supernatural mindfuck? What?

It's basically a tribute to Spielberg. Not a bad show so far.

I'm enjoying it as well. Basically there's this "new species" being discovered in the oceans of the world. The creatures are varying in size from the size of a cat to able to smoke a nuclear submarine like a cigar. They've implied a lot of other things as well, but it's only two episodes into it. Catch up.

I caugt most of the first and all the 2nd this time. Once again after seeing the first ending I was wrong as to the direction of the show. Can't wait for tonight's. Looks fun.

yeah, i really like surface.. im very curious to see where they take it.. i wonder if these things are going to start leaving the water and wrecking havoc on land (judging by the baby the kid has it seems possible).. this show has a lot of potential,,

I am having fun with both Surface and Invasion. I think in the long run Invasion might be better, because I can see Surface going down a bad Seaquest DSV way. The effects in Surface are already laughable, especially after watching shows like Lost and 24 with their insane production values.

But both so far are good.

Seriously this show makes me want another Godzilla remake.

It could be so awesome as a horror/action/end of the world movie instead of feel good fish eating iguana movie.

My only real complaint is the wife.

I think I know how they're trying to get her across. But she's just coming off as unlikable.

I sorta see that coming too, though I'm hoping they don't go that route.

Also it's like they're trying to make every female in this show unlikable as all hell.
