What famous people actually game?

Just saw James mcavoy (professor X, split) on hot ones talk about his favorite video games. He mentioned secret of mana as his favorite and others have said what a COD and oblivion fan he is.

But do actors/actresses actually game? I don't want to discuss that they have no time to game. I want to know who actually boots up their computer or console and plays modern games.

Besides Henry Cavill we always get generic answers like "I love Mario". The games are always from their childhood.

Does Norman reedus game? He's the star of death Stranding and has become associated with gaming. Just seems like celebrities mostly just do it for street cred.

Peter Serafanowizc was a huge fan of Dark Souls and, as a result, voiced Pate in Dark Souls 2. I've heard he loved the cryptic story telling of DS1 and therefore did not want to know whether Pate was a hero or a villain in order to voice him as cryptically as possible.

Famous people, actors especially have way more free time than an average person

If John Cena could game back in the day when he was having 5+ matches per week in a different country each day no less, combined with spending a lot of time at the gym then your average actor will have a lot more free time to do so than someone who works 40h per week, money simply buy you time and the more money you have the less time and work you have to put in to earn them.

Not video games but Zayn Malik from One Direction recently showed up at a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament, which was kinda wild.

Henry Cavil is well known for being a massive nerd, especially with Warhammer, and builds his own PCs. Timothée Chalamet used to make custom 360 controllers in order to terrorize COD lobbies before he was famous.

LeBron James reportedly plays an alarming, unhealthy amount of Madden.

"I think now he's maybe top 1000 in the world now. I know, late in the season, he told us he beat the 164th best player in the world, I think."

[Anthony] Davis said James is currently playing between 15 and 20 games every day."

Cena is a big NES fan, and he's had shirts based on Mario 3 and Pro wrestling.

If you count local "celebrities", there's me...
Not for a long time, mind you. I'm just a happy wee office drone now, with a little time to actually enjoy gaming!

Hah, I've been a fan of his comedy so I knew he was into Dark Souls. A few years before Covid I went to London to visit a friend and after getting out of the subway Serafinowicz was walking past me. Probably because we were the only people in the close vicinity he looked weirdly at me and I had this immense urge to say "Praise the sun" but chickened out and kind of regret it ever since.

John Carpenter (Director of They Live, The Thing, Halloween, etc.) loves playing games. Even has a game coming out called Toxic Commando.
Steven Spielberg loves playing Call of Duty on pc with a mouse and keyboard too.

Diogo Jota is a professional footballer for Liverpool and regularly goes unbeaten in Weekend League, the games competitive ranked mode.

Megan Fox said she like to play with friends, and also would love to star a MK character in a movie. (That was waaaaay before her voice on mk1)
I could totally see her as Kitana or mileena. Someone with the bandana on her face. She's got the body for a MK game.

I might have to watch Jennifer's body again. For Halloween research purposes😋

Yes.

I just read about zelda Fitzgerald and how she used to taunt F Scott about his penis size. Apparently it made him self conscious and he asked Hemingway to check out his junk. He told f Scott he didn't have to worry and his dick was average size.

Zelda hated Hemingway too

A bit of topic, but talking about celebrity cock stories, the above reminds me of the novelist Truman Capote.

Capote was once at a restaurant with friends, when a woman approached him from another table asking for an autograph.

Her husband, clearly drunk and jealous, then walked over to Truman's table and pulled out his cock. He said, holding it in the his hand, "Can you put your signature on this? And Truman looked down at the cock, and up again, and he said. "I don't know about my signature. But I can initial it!"

Anyway, back on topic, I think every premier league football player plays FIFA. It's like some kind of obligation.

F1 World Champion Max Verstappen is also one of the best sim drivers in the world.

And why is he the best? Because nothing can distract him.

Pretty much all I know have been mentioned already.
Not sure about today, but Leonardo DiCaprio also used to be big on gaming. One entire scene in Danny Boyle's The Beach depicting him inside a videogame level was created under his own suggestion.

But the man's apparently a pretty big nerd in general, him and Nicholas Cage fought for a dinosaur skull, Russell Crowe bought another dinosaur skull from him, and I remember reading he's a living encyclopedia of bird species and animals in general.

Kyler Murray is apparently good enough to have competed professionally if he wasn't also good enough to play quarterback in the NFL or be drafted in the first-round of the MLB.

Curt Schilling is another obvious one, who used his fame to make Kingdom of Amlaur.
