Thought it would be fun to just revisit the what are you playing in 'month' threads. To see which games were the most hotly anticipated and had people ready to jump in day one - thoughts? Surprises?

Interestingly the popularity of the playing people's backlogs came out top in 6 of the 12 months

Kind of surprised not to see Pokemon just on the basis that it's Pokemon.

Hades 2 as well, but I guess that game was in early access and stuff so most people had probably already played it.
