What is wrong with Nintendo's account system?

Where does this happen on PC??
I've had troublegetting games to work on Steam Deck without an internet connection. If you don't specifically set the thing to offline mode and allow it to download various keys before you leave the land of wi-fi behind, a lot of your downloaded games will be unavailable.

It's a shit system, you can't just play the Steam games you have installed, the DRM needs to be verified. So not a million miles from the Nintendo experience.

Not sure why you are having issues to be honest. Not a drive by in the slightest. Hope you get things sorted.

We figured out the entire problem in this thread already. The solution is we are fucked because Nintendo sucks at it. Learn to read.

Typically Nintendo-friendly posters came here to agree with me that it sucks, and even made fun of others for thinking some Nintendo fans would defend it.

I thought maybe you just hadn't shown up yet because you were still asleep. Maybe, I thought, the thread will get buried before Mozza notices it and proves them right.

Your games can be played one other PCs and are not tied to a single device, as the problem here.

I agree with you it sucks, and not sure I defended it by stating I have had zero issues myself.

I have had no issues whatsoever on my Switch 2 account system, I transferred all my stuff from the OLED to the new console in super quick time, even Animal Crossing transferred over with no issues. I game my OLED to my daughter than linked both systems. We can swap virtual gamecards with no problems whatsoever.

I am guessing there is more to this than meets the ear... I am guessing some sort of modification.

This was also my experience, for the limited use case of 1 account on both systems.

But anywho, also agree with the general sentiment of BlackTron BlackTron that Nintendo's account mgmt system and online capabilities are WOEFUL in comparison to the competition.

Without a doubt, the experience on my series X is much better. Nintendo have got better over the years, but I agree are still behind the curve.

Do you guys share a family account?
With that you can " borrow" a license for 2 weeks and after it get's returned to the original system.
Never mind while typing that i realised you can't use the license on 2 systems at the same time.
I don't think there is a solution for this apart from what you already did and that is to buy physical.

It's one of those things that doesn't matter until you need, then you're fucked.

They make you have to plan when you will play with other people in other consoles. It defeats the main point of having a account system.

Funny how easy it is to do that on PC store fronts, but in a portable console, it's such a annoyance.
