Yeah. She passed away in March. We weren't together but we were friends. I was basically her interpreter (she's also deaf) and her advocate... It's a long story but she was something else. smart, funny and always teaching me a new sign. I really miss her. Talking about her makes me smile sometimes... Makes me emotional other times.

Know what's cool though? The fact that it's pretty apparent that she's not gone, my friend. You hold her dearly in your memories, it shows, and that means you and your child are her legacy. Not all of us get to carry or leave a legacy, but she certainly did and you're carrying all that love for her forward, which means she isn't gone at all brother, because she's always part of you now. I know that sounds corny, but let's be real, we're not gonna be around forever, so the only way to achieve life beyond this flawed coil is to live on as love for someone else, and that energy, that fervor with which you cherish her, that's infinite brethren.

You and your child are her immortality. I hope for my daughter to be the same for me one day . Love to you and yours brethren.
